Parliamentary Committee on Cooperatives-related fraud demands documents from Gorkha Media

KATHMANDU: The Special Investigation Committee on Cooperatives has decided to request documents from Gorkha Media Network Pvt Ltd.

In its sixth meeting on Wednesday, the committee decided to send letters requesting documents related to nine cooperatives and the funds disbursed from various cooperatives to Gorkha Media and others.

During Wednesday’s meeting, the committee also sought advice from former ministers Deepak Prakash Baskota and Keshav Prasad Badal, who are considered knowledgeable in the cooperative sector.

Before entering politics, Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane was the managing director of Gorkha Media.
