Hamro Nepali Party withdraws support from Bagmati Province government

KATHMANDU: The Hamro Nepal Party has declared its decision to withdraw support from the Bagmati Province government.

In a letter addressed to the Chief of the Province, the party officially communicated its withdrawal of support today.

According to a party leader, this decision aligns with the mandate received from citizens, prompting the party to transition into an opposition role within the Provincial Assembly.

Previously, the party had extended its support to the government led by the CPN (Maoist Center) in the province.

However, citing the will of the people, Hamro Nepal Party has opted to reposition itself in the political landscape.

This move is expected to reshape the dynamics within Bagmati Province and may have implications for the governance and decision-making processes in the region.
