23 policemen, including 4 ASIs go out of contact



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Police Headquarters has issued a directive to 23 officers who have been uncontactable for an extended period, giving them a seven-day ultimatum to establish communication.

According to the directive from the Nepal Police Headquarters, among the officers who have gone out of contact are 23 policemen, including 4 Assistant Sub-Inspectors, all of whom have not been reachable for over a month.

Despite efforts to locate them, including a thorough search and formal notices, these officers have failed to respond.

In the notice issued today, these policemen have been summoned to report to the office with a satisfactory explanation within the next seven days.

Failure to comply will result in their removal from service as per police regulations.
