KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley has been blanketed in fog mirroring weather changes across various regions of the country.
The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a complete transformation in the Valley’s weather.
The once clear skies have surrendered to heavy cloud cover, indicative of a day dominated by overcast conditions.
The Valley will witness varying intensities of rainfall throughout the afternoon, according to the Division categorizing rainfall between 0.1 to 0.5 mm as heavy and anything exceeding 10 mm as light.
In the preceding 21 hours, Kathmandu Valley has already received 0.8 mm of rainfall, further contributing to the dampened atmosphere.
Partly cloudy conditions are predicted for the remainder of the day, indicating intermittent sunshine amidst lingering cloud cover, resulting in subdued illumination across the Valley.
As of 6:45 am today, the Valley’s minimum temperature stands at 13 degrees Celsius, with the Division forecasting a maximum temperature range of 26 to 28 degrees Celsius.
