By-election 2024: EC unveils candidacy registration schedule



KATHMANDU: Candidate registration for the upcoming by-elections in Ilam Constituency 2 and Bajhang 1(1) is scheduled to take place on April 6.

The Election Commission (EC) has publicly announced the election schedule, fixing the dates for various electoral activities on Monday.

According to the schedule, the time for party registration has been set from March 7 to 13.

When candidates register on April 6,, the final list will be published on April 9. The candidates will be provided the election symbol on April 9.

As per the EC schdule, the candidates can organize election campaign from April 10 to 24.

Voting will take place on April 27, starting from 7 am to 5 pm.
