Nepal experiencing partial impact of westerly low-pressure system



KATHMANDU: Nepal is currently experiencing a partial impact of the westerly low-pressure system, the Weather Forecasting Division has said.

According to the Division, the weather will remain clear in the hilly regions of the country, encompassing Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while other areas are likely to experience generally clear conditions.

This afternoon is expected to bring partly to mostly cloudy conditions nationwide.

There is a likelihood of light snowfall in select areas of Gandaki, Karnali, and the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Sudurpaschim Province.

The night is forecasted to witness snowfall in the highlands and Himalayan areas, accompanied by partly cloudy skies.
