Samajwadi Morcha’s meeting taking place today

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Samajwadi Morcha (Socialist Front), a loose alliance of left-inclined political parties, is taking place today.

The meeting earlier scheduled for Sunday was postponed for today.

The Secretariat of the Morcha, led by coordinator Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav,’ shared that Sunday’s meeting was rescheduled due to a clash in timing with the CPN-Maoist Center’s meeting.

Adig Bogati, a secretariat member of Biplav, informed that the meeting will take place at 8 am today.

The Socialist Morcha’s meeting is intended to announce the schedule for interaction programs in the major cities across the seven provinces.

The Front includes political parties, including the Maoist Center, Unified Socialist, Nepal Communist Party led by Chanda “Biplav”, and Janata Samajwadi Party.
