KATHMANDU: Currently, westerly winds are influencing weather patterns across the country.
As of Monday morning, the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are experiencing partly cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country remains mainly clear, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
There is light haze reported in some areas of the Terai.
This afternoon, the hilly regions of Koshi and Bagmati provinces are expected to be partly to generally cloudy.
The rest of the country should remain partly cloudy to mainly clear.
Light rain is possible in one or two locations within the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces later in the day.
Tonight, the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces will be partly cloudy, with the remainder of the country experiencing partly cloudy to mainly clear conditions.
The bulletin issued by the division at 6 AM on Monday indicates a likelihood of light rain in one or two places within the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
