No budget crunch for International Cricket Stadium: CM Lama



CHITWAN: Bahadur Singh Lama Tamang, the Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, assured that there will be no reduction in budget allocations for the construction of the Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium.

After inspecting the stadium today, he emphasized that funds will be sufficient to complete the project.

He clarified that the provincial government will cover 70% of the total construction costs, while the remaining 30% will be financed by Bharatpur Metropolitan City.

Lama stated that this multi-year initiative will be prioritized, with timely budget allocations to support its progress.

Additionally, Bharatpur Metropolitan City Mayor Renu Dahal noted that the provincial government has secured the budget, positioning the project as a model for the province.
