Govt transfers CDOs in 17 districts, including Bhaktapur and Lalitpur



KATHMANDU: The government has transferred Chief District Officers (CDOs) of 17 districts, including Bhaktapur and Lalitpur.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has confirmed these transfers.

In addition to the CDOs, several Under Secretaries and Assistant CDOs working in various District Administration Offices have also been reassigned.

In Bhaktapur, Gopal Prasad Aryal, formerly the CDO of Doti, has taken over, while Roshni Kumari Shrestha, the outgoing CDO of Bhaktapur, has been assigned to the National Disaster Risk Reduction Authority.

In Lalitpur, Tulsi Bahadur Shrestha, the previous CDO, has been transferred to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Ramesh Dhakal has been appointed as the new CDO of Lalitpur.
