Unified Socialist’s Central Committee meeting to begin today



KATHMANDU: The Central Committee meeting of the Unified Socialist party is taking place today in Naya Baneshwar today.

The agenda includes the swearing-in of central committee members, the formation of central structures, and other key issues.

Out of the 344 members in the central committee, 251 have yet to take the oath of office.

These members will be sworn in and assigned their responsibilities during the meeting.

Additionally, changes in the responsibilities of some leaders are expected.

Central committee member Som Prasad Pandey stated that there are currently 18 vacant positions, including Senior Vice Chair, Vice Chirperson, Deputy General Secretary, and Treasurer.

Pandey further mentioned that officials will be picked based on their contributions and performance.

The Central Committee members have been instructed to attend the meeting to discuss the development of central structures and other important matters.

The meeting is scheduled to continue until Tuesday.
