KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has stated that monsoon conditions are still affecting the country.

The Division has reported partial to general cloud coverage across the country.

Light rain with thunder and lightning is observed in some areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

This afternoon, the weather is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy nationwide.

Light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, may occur in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, with a few places in Madhesh province also experiencing these conditions.

There is also a potential for heavy rain in one or two locations within Koshi, Bagmati, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Tonight, the weather will be generally cloudy across the country.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, with some rain expected in other remaining provinces as well.
