Teen drowns in Tinau river

TILOTTAMA, RUPANDEHI: A teenager drowned in the Tinau River at Hariyali Park, Tilottama Municipality-6, Rupandehi, on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as 17-year-old Dibyams Bhusal, son of Narayan Bhusal, a resident of Tilottama-5, Nayamil, Rupandehi.

He had gone to the river with friends to swim.

Dibyams, who had gone to swim with two friends got drowned at around 8:30 am.

A team led by Senior Sub-Inspector (SSI) Dipendra Baniya from the Mangalapur Area Police Office found Dibyams’ body in the river.
