Kathmandu District Court orders to release Sharmila Waiba



KATHMANDU: The District Court of Kathmandu has issued an order to release Sharmila Waiba on bail.

The verdict was issued by Judge Kamal Prasad Pokharel’s on Monday.

Waiba was arrested on February 28 for allegations of assault and involvement in cyber crime related offenses.

Artist Pawan Khatiwada ‘Makuri’ had filed a case of assault , against Waiba, at the District Police Office, Kathmandu.

Waiba had manhandled Khatiwada in the domestic dispute between Khatiwada’s husband and wife.
