Ireland Wolves set 122 runs target against Nepal

KATHMANDU: In the first match of the T20 series against Nepal, Ireland Wolves has set a target of 122 runs.

Ireland Wolves, after winning the toss and opting to bat first at the Tribhuvan Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, lost all wickets, scoring 121 runs.

For Ireland Wolves, Stephen Doheny scored the most with 46 runs, followed by Liam McCarthy and Tom Mayes with 16 runs each. Fionn Hand contributed 11 runs.

Cade Carmichael made 8 runs, while Captain Neil Rock returned to the pavilion with a personal score of 5 runs.

On the bowling side, Gulshan Jha, Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi, and Kushal Bhurtel took 2 wickets each for Nepal.

Nepal has started the response batting.
Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh opened the innings for Nepal.

The Nepali national team will play the second match against Ireland Wolves tomorrow.

After that, Nepal’s A team will play T20 and one-day series.
