JSP lawmaker Deepak Karki appointed as state Minister of Health



KATHMANDU: Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal lawmaker, Deepak Karki, has been appointed as the state Minister of Health and Population.

According to JSP sources, Karki, who was appointed as a minister on Sunday, has a swearing-in ceremony scheduled for 3 pm at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Minister, Singhadurbar, Kathmandu.

Preparations are underway at the Prime Minister’s Office for the oath-taking ceremony, where Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ will administer the oath to Minister Karki.

Karki is an elected lawmaker from Dhanusa Constituency No. 1.

While JSP Chairman Upendra Yadav is the Minister of Health and Population, JSP lawmaker Naval Kishor Sah is the Minister for Forest and Environment.
