Kushal Bhurtel scores eighth ODI half century against Netherlands



KATHMANDU: Nepal’s opening batsman, Kushal Bhurtel, notched his eighth ODI half-century during a match against the Netherlands on Sunday.

The ongoing ICC CWC League 2 match, held at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kathmandu, sees Nepal facing off against the Netherlands.

Bhurtel contributed 66 runs to the team’s score before being caught out.

With the match progressing into the 37th over, Nepal has reached a total of 122 runs with seven wickets down.

In their previous encounter, Nepal clinched victory over the Netherlands by a convincing margin of nine wickets.
