Woman found dead in Bhimdatta ward office



KATHMANDU: A tragic discovery unfolded in Bhimdatta Municipality-18 of Kanchanpur district as a woman was found dead inside a ward office.

The woman was found hanging within a sub-hall of the office, as reported by the police.

Identified as the wife of a municipal police personnel, the couple had married just a few months ago and resided in a quarter room provided within the ward office premises.

Authorities have notified the deceased’s relatives, and arrangements are being made for a postmortem examination upon their arrival at the scene.

In response to the incident, police are actively reviewing CCTV footage and gathering statements from the victim’s husband to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
