Maoist Center holding Standing Committee meeting today

KATHMANDU: The ruling Maoist Center is holding a meeting of its Standing Committee at the party headquarters in Parisdanda today.

This meeting, initially scheduled last Friday but postponed due to the hectic schedule of party Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, is anticipated to address significant issues within the party.

One of the key agendas of today’s meeting to begin at 11 am is a potential reshuffling of responsibilities among party leaders and officials.

Additionally, discussions will center around the division of labor, specifically focusing on the strategy for the ongoing Terai-Madhesh campaign, according to the party.

During the meeting, the Maoist Center has also plans to commend three leaders who have actively contributed to the transformation campaign over the past four months.

Simultaneously, there is also a proposal to take disciplinary actions against leaders who have demonstrated subpar performance.
