Kaski District Court remands RSP Chair Lamichhane to another seven days in custody

KATHMANDU: The Kaski District Court has granted permission to keep Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane in custody for another seven days.

Lamichhane was arrested in connection with an investigation into cooperative fraud and organized crime, and the court has approved the request to detain him for further investigation.

He was presented before the Kaski District Court on Thursday, where the hearing was conducted by Judge Chandra Kanta Paudel.

Lamichhane was arrested in Kathmandu last Friday and was brought to the Kaski Police Office on Saturday.
