Bharatpur Hospital receives excellence award

BHARATPUR: The Bharatpur Hospital has been rated the best performing health service providers among 13 hospitals being operated in the Bagmati Province.

The award of excellence was provided to the hospital based on the the province-level annual review of the performance of the health offices in the fiscal year 2080-81 undertaken by the Province Health Ministry.

Chief Minister Bahadur Singh Lama and Health Minister Kiran Thapa handed over the awards and certificates to the hospital, Hospital’s Director Dr Sumitra Gautam said today.

The review meeting concluded on Wednesday. Bhaktapur Hospital had earlier received the award of excellence.

According to Dr Gautam, the hospital will start MRI service from next month.
