Rain expected in Bagmati and other provinces today



KATHMANDU:  The Weather Forecasting Division has reported that monsoon conditions are still affecting the entire country, with a low-pressure system positioned south of its usual position.

Currently, the hilly areas are experiencing partly to mostly cloudy skies, while the rest of the country is predominantly clear.

Isolated rain is occurring in some areas of the Koshi, Bagmati, and Karnali provinces.

This afternoon, the weather is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy nationwide, with a possibility of heavy rain in one or two locations within the Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.

Tonight, the weather will remain partly to mostly cloudy, with light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning expected in parts of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as isolated areas in other provinces.

Heavy rainfall is likely in one or two locations in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
