Landslides obstruct Devighat-Galchhi road

NUWAKOT: The Devighat-Galchhi road, part of the Galchhi-Rasuwagadhi road, has been rendered impassable by landslides exacerbated by continuous rainfall.

Chief of the District Police Office, Shantiraj Koirala, stated that traffic has been disrupted at four locations due to landslides.

Landslides have occurred at two points, while road flooding has blocked traffic at two others.

Authorities have anticipated that clearing operations will require considerable time to restore passage along the affected route.
