West Indies ‘A’ cricket team arrives Kathmandu for five T20 matches



KATHMANDU: The West Indies ‘A’ cricket team has landed in Nepal for a series of five T20 cricket matches.

The inaugural match between Nepal and West Indies ‘A’ is set for April 27, Saturday.

Following this, the second match will be on Sunday, the third on Wednesday, the fourth on Friday, and the final match on May 4, Saturday.

All matches will take place at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Nepal has organized this series against West Indies ‘A’ as part of its preparations for the ICC T20 World Cup.

After this series, the Nepali team will journey to the United States for the T20 World Cup.

This marks West Indies’ first visit to Nepal.

The West Indies Cricket Board has assembled a 15-member squad for this series, led by seasoned player Roston Chase.

West Indies boasts a two-time victory in the ICC T20 World Cup.
