Police make public woman arrested for abduction of infant from Paropakar Hospital



KATHMANDU: The police have publicly announced the arrest of a woman accused of kidnapping a 26-day-old baby from the Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital on Friday.

Man Kumari Singh, 24, originally from Namune Rural Municipality-1 and currently residing in Kandaghari, Kathmandu, was apprehended for allegedly stealing the baby from the hospital, as stated by DSP and spokesperson of District Police Range, Kathmandu, Navraj Adhikari.

Following the rescue operation, the baby was returned to the family and is currently receiving medical treatment at Kathmandu Medical College.
