NEPSE witnesses 10.25 points decline on Wednesday



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) continues its downward trajectory, for the fourth consecutive day, on Wednesday.

Today, the NEPSE index declined by 10.25 points, reaching 2,088.04 points.

In today’s trading session, transactions involving a total of 11,004,949 shares of 311 companies were conducted, amounting to NPR 3.89 billion.

Banking and mutual fund groups recorded positive growth, while all other sub-indices witnessed a decline. Notably, the Hydropower group faced a decline of 27 percent, and the Investment group witnessed a decrease of 65 percent.

Chandragiri Hills Limited and Mid Solu Hydro Power Limited experienced positive circuit breaks in their share prices, while Tehrathum Power Company Limited faced a negative circuit break.

Based on business volume, Himalayan Reinsurance Limited conducted the highest transaction, amounting to NPR 251.5 million.

In terms of share quantity, Arun Kabeli Power Limited had the highest trading volume, involving 571,874 shares.
