PM Cup Cricket: Three matches being played today



KATHMANDU: The excitement continues in the Prime Minister’s Cup Men’s National Cricket Tournament as three matches are scheduled for today.

Lumbini Province will face off against Tribhuvan Army at 9 am at the Siddharthnagar Stadium in Bhairahawa.

Simultaneously, at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Koshi and Sudurpaschim Province will clash at 9:30 am.

The action will continue at Mulpani Cricket Ground, where Madhesh Pradesh will lock horns with Nepal Police Club.

As of now, Nepal Police Club stands as the only undefeated team in the Prime Minister’s Cup, leading the table with an impressive 8 points from winning all four of its matches.

The current standings showcase Bagmati Province in second place with 8 points from seven games, followed by Madhesh Province in the third spot with 8 points from six games.

Tribhuvan Army Club has secured the fourth position with 6 points from five games, while Sudurpaschim Pradesh occupies the fifth spot with 6 points from four games.

Karnali Pradesh finds itself in the sixth position with 6 points from six games, while APF has slipped to seventh place with 4 points from five games.

Gandaki Province holds the eighth position with 2 wins and 4 points from five matches, while Lumbini Province is in ninth place with 1 win and 2 losses in three matches.

Koshi Pradesh remains at the bottom, having been defeated in all seven matches without earning any points.
