Cold spell hits Kathmandu as minimum temperature declines

KATHMANDU: The minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley has been steadily declining over the past few days.

Meteorologist Raju Pradhananga from the Weather Forecasting Division stated that the temperature in Kathmandu Valley was recorded at 5:45 am today (Monday).

On Sunday, the minimum temperature was 4.5 degrees Celsius, but the official reading at 8:45 am today suggests a further drop is possible.

Pradhananga also mentioned that the weather in the Kathmandu Valley is expected to remain mostly clear today, with sunshine likely in the afternoon.

As temperatures continue to fall, the Kathmandu Valley experienced a notably colder morning.
