Rs 1.81 billion deposited in PM Natural Disaster Relief Fund

KATHMANDU: Over Rs 1.82 billion has been deposited into the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund.

According to details released by the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, this amount was recorded as of October 20.

The fund has received contributions from various individuals, institutions, companies, and agencies.

The government is utilizing these funds for the relief and rehabilitation of those affected by the floods and landslides caused by incessant rains on September 27-28.

Additionally, the government has declared the most affected areas to facilitate the smooth provision of relief to disaster-affected individuals.
