KATHMANDU: A meeting took place on Monday evening between Acting Prime Minister Prakash Man Singh and Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak.

The meeting has attracted attention amid discussions surrounding the possible arrest of Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA), in connection with a cooperative fund embezzlement case.

Singh is currently serving as Acting Prime Minister while Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is in the United States attending the 79th General Assembly of the United Nations.
