IGP Kunwar leaves for Greece

KATHMANDU: Inspector General of Nepal Police (IGP), Basanta Bahadur Kunwar, today left here for Greece to take part in the 38th International Drug Enforcement Conference.

The event to be organised by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration has been scheduled to be held in Athens on September 24-26, according to Nepal Police central spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Dan Bahadur Karki.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Dinesh Kumar Acharya will be also attending the Conference.

Additional Inspector Generals, DIGs and senior police officials of the Nepal Police had been at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) to see off IGP Kunwar.

In the absence of Kunwar, AIG Tek Prasad Rai takes charge of daily administrative affairs of the Nepal Police Headquarters.
