Nepali Army seeks 280 officers for recruitment



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Army (NA) has announced an open call for applications to fill 280 officer positions in general service.

On Friday, the Nepali Army Recruitment Selection Directorate, Army Headquarters, released a notice inviting applications for these vacant officer posts.

The recruitment process will be conducted through open and inclusive competition.

The notice specifies that the recruitment will include positions reserved for various categories.

This includes 14 positions for the children of Nepali soldiers who died during military training or while performing their duties, 147 positions for the general public, 24 positions for women, 38 positions for indigenous/ethnic minorities, 33 positions for Madhesis, 18 positions for Dalits, and 6 positions for candidates from backward areas.

Interested Nepali citizens who meet the qualifications are encouraged to apply from today until September 21.
