BAGMATI: The Nepali Congress (NC) and the CPN (UML) have divided the ministerial portfolios in the Bagmati provincial government between them.
According to Govinda Prasad Lamsal, the Whip of the NC’s provincial parliamentary party, the NC will oversee the following ministries:
Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning
Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law
Ministry of Social Development
Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Cooperatives
Ministry of Labour, Employment and Transport
Ministry of Youth and Sports
Meanwhile, the CPN (UML) will manage these ministries:
Ministry of Physical Infrastructure, Water Supply, Energy and Irrigation
Ministry of Forests and Environment
Ministry of Health
Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Land Management and Administration
Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development
