HoR: Ministers to respond to lawmakers’ queries

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) under the Federal Parliament is taking place today.

The meeting is scheduled to convene at 1 pm at the Federal Parliament building in New Baneswor.

Today’s agenda includes Speaker Devraj Ghimire’s proposal to amend the membership of the Parliamentary Hearing Committee within the joint committee and the thematic committee of the House of Representatives.

Additionally, some ministers are scheduled to provide responses to queries raised by MPs.

The agenda for today features ministers addressing questions pertaining to the Ministries of Health and Population; Forest and Environment; Agriculture and Livestock Development, as well as Labor, Employment, and Social Security.

Furthermore, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel is slated to table the “Secure Transactions (First Amendment) Bill, 2081” for consideration by the National Assembly.
