KATHMANDU: Sushil Pyakurel, who was recommended for the position of Ambassador to South Korea, has expressed dissatisfaction with the appointment.

The government recommended him for the ambassadorial position from the CPN-UML quota last Friday, June 21.

According to sources close to Pyakurel, he has already submitted a letter to the secretariat of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, expressing his dissatisfaction with the nomination.

“I am dissatisfied; I am consulting about it. You will know everything shortly,” Pyakurel said.

He declined the position citing reasons such as not consulting with his family and lack of prior agreement.
