Army to compete against Tip Top in RBB NVA Volleyball Championship today



KATHMANDU: In the men’s final of the 8th RBB NVA Volleyball Championship, Tribhuvan Army Club and Tip Top Nepal Sports Club will compete against each other for the title on Saturday.

In the semifinals held on Friday, the Army defeated Nepal Police Club, while Tip Top Nepal overcame Gandaki Province, securing their spots in the final journey.

In Friday’s match at the National Sports Council’s Covered Hall in Tripureshwor, the Army defeated the Police in an exhilarating game, winning 3-2 sets. The Army emerged victorious with set scores of 18-25, 25-23, 24-26, 25-13, and 15-13.

Similarly, Tip Top Nepal defeated Gandaki Province in a straight set of 3-0. Nepal Volleyball Association’s ongoing tournament winners will receive Rs. 500,000, the second-place team will receive Rs. 200,000, and the third-place team will be awarded Rs. 125,000.
