26-day-old infant stolen from Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital



KATHMANDU: Police have received a complaint of a 26-day-old infant being stolen from Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital at Thapathali, Kathmandu.

According to Navraj Adhikari, the spokesperson for the District Police Range, Kathmandu, a complaint of a 26-day-old baby gone missing has been lodged, and the search operation is currently underway.

A woman had earlier asked to hold the baby for a while, who was brought to the hospital for treatment, according to the complainer.

After holding the baby, the woman reportedly fled with the baby.

The incident was reported this afternoon, and the whereabouts of the baby are still at large.”
