Dasharath Chand and Jay Prithvi Highways witness snowfall

BAITADI: Following rainfall in the districts of Sudurpaschim Province, snowfall has been reported in various locations along Dasharath Chand and Jay Prithvi Highways since Thursday afternoon.

Nandaraj Joshi, the Spokesperson of the District Police Office, stated that snowfall has been observed in Khodpe, Anarkholi, Harichan, Dudilakhan, Dholyamode, Bithad, and other areas.

Vehicular movement on the highways was temporarily disrupted on Thursday due to heavy snowfall.

Meanwhile, farmers in Sudurpaschim Province are delighted, anticipating improved yields from the winter crop as a result of the snowfall.

This marks the second occurrence of snowfall in the district this winter, with the first instance taking place in the first week of February.
