KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published today’s exchange rates for foreign currencies.

The price of the US dollar has reached an all-time high, while other currencies, including the Australian dollar, pound sterling, and Kuwaiti dinar, have also increased in value. In contrast, the euro has seen a decrease.

According to the exchange rates published by the Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one US dollar today is 134 rupees 90 paisa, with a selling rate of 135 rupees 50 paisa—both of which are the highest recorded rates.

For comparison, yesterday’s buying rate was 134 rupees 77 paisa, and the selling rate was 135 rupees 37 paisa.

Today, the buying rate for one euro is 142 rupees 04 paisa, and the selling rate is 142 rupees 67 paisa, down slightly from yesterday’s buying rate of 142 rupees 15 paisa and selling rate of 142 rupees 78 paisa.

The buying rate for one pound sterling today is 170 rupees 62 paisa, with a selling rate of 171 rupees 38 paisa, compared to yesterday’s buying rate of 170 rupees 54 paisa and selling rate of 171 rupees 30 paisa.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is now 88 rupees, with a selling rate of 88 rupees 39 paisa, up from yesterday’s buying rate of 87 rupees 63 paisa and selling rate of 88 rupees 02 paisa.

Additionally, the buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar is 438 rupees 67 paisa, with a selling rate of 440 rupees 62 paisa, compared to yesterday’s buying rate of 438 rupees 15 paisa and selling rate of 440 rupees 08 paisa.

Similarly, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar is 357 rupees 90 paisa, with a selling rate of 359 rupees 49 paisa, an increase from yesterday’s buying rate of 357 rupees 53 paisa and selling rate of 359 rupees 12 paisa.
