No bomb found on Vistara Airlines flight, airport reopens



KATHMANDU: The bomb disposal unit of the Nepal Army conducted a thorough search of the plane and found no bomb.

The aircraft, with call sign UK 155, landed in Kathmandu at 4:30 PM. After receiving a bomb threat, all passengers were safely evacuated, and security personnel searched the plane.

The bomb alert was reportedly sent via WhatsApp, but after confirming the absence of any explosives, airport operations resumed as normal.
