Gold and silver prices reach new record highs

KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices have reached new record highs today, continuing a trend of increases over the past six days.

Both precious metals have broken previous records, with gold hitting an all-time high.

Since last Wednesday, the prices have surged significantly. On Tuesday, gold rose by Rs 300, and today it stands at Rs 165,900 per tola.

Silver has also seen an increase, rising by Rs 5 to Rs 2,100 per tola, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Federation.

Just yesterday, gold had climbed by Rs 600 per tola, reaching Rs 165,600, while silver saw a rise of Rs 20, reaching Rs 2,095 per tola.

The upward trend in gold prices began in the second week of October and shows no signs of slowing as we move into November.
