Court remands Durga Prasai in custody for 3 days

KATHMANDU: The District Court of Kathmandu has remanded controversial medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai in custody for three days for further investigation into his alleged involvement in a cybercrime case.

Prasai was arrested earlier today from his residence in Bhaktapur by a police team.

The court had previously granted permission for Prasai’s arrest in connection with the case.
