KATHMANDU: The National Assembly passed the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) Bill on Thursday.

Presented for endorsement by Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Ajay Kumar Chaurasiya, the bill was unanimously approved by the assembly.

The bill seeks to amend the Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Act (third amendment) – 2079 BS.

The House of Representatives (HoR) had previously passed the bill on August 14.
