One dies due to hornet sting



RUKUM WEST: A person died and another was injured after hornets stung them in Rukum West.

The deceased has been identified as Newton Gharti, 27, of Bhume rural municipality-9 in the district. He died in course of treatment at District Hospital, Rukum East, this morning.

Similarly, Kamal Raule, 24, of Sisne rural municipality-7 was injured and he is receiving treatment at the District Hospital, said Information Officer at the District Police Office, Rukum East, Hari Bhattarai.

The incident took place while both of them were burning down the hornet nest at Dhaulapaira jungle at Sisne rural municipality-5 on Wednesday evening.
