KATHMANDU: Nepal will go up against Bangladesh in the SAFF U-20 Football Championship at 3:00 pm today.

In Wednesday’s match, Bhutan defeated the Maldives 2-1 at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato. With this victory, Bhutan and India now each have three points in Group B.

The Maldives remains without points. Previously, India had beaten Bhutan 1-0 in their first match.

For Bhutan, Jignam Dorjee and Nowang Chopel each scored a goal. Firak scored for the Maldives.

Bhutan’s goals came in the 22nd and 89th minutes, while the Maldives equalized in the 59th minute.
