Former Minister Raye found murdered



KATHMANDU: Former Minister of State for Land Reform, Ram Chandra Raye, has been murdered.

Rai was killed last night at his residence in Chandranagar Rural Municipality-1, Ratanpur, Sarlahi.

According to Sarlahi police spokesperson DSP Deepak Shrestha, the 80-year-old Raye was attacked by an unknown group using sharp weapons.

Police have initiated an investigation into this incident.
