HoR: PM Oli to address lawmakers’ queries today



KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives under the Federal Parliament is set to convene at 1 pm at the Parliament Building, New Baneswor today.

Prime Minister KP Oli is slated to respond to lawmakers’ queries during the question and answer session.

It should be noted that PM Oli secured a decisive two-thirds majority in the 275-member House of Representatives, receiving a vote of confidence from 188 MPs on Sunday.

Out of the 263 MPs present, 74 voted against Prime Minister Oli, with 1 remaining neutral.

Additionally, the agenda includes Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ajay Chaurasiya presenting a proposal to the National Assembly for consideration of the ‘Legislation Bill, 2080’.
