KATHMANDU: The uncertainty surrounding the longevity of the current ruling coalition has been highlighted by Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairman of the Unified Socialist Party.

Speaking at the third annual Central Assembly of Nar Bahadur Karmacharya, Nepal expressed skepticism regarding the stability of Nepal’s current political landscape.

“The situation is complex. The alliance was formed hastily, leaving doubts about its sustainability,” remarked Nepal.

“The term of this alliance remains undecided. Our Prime Minister holds the answers. However, I can affirm that the situation is far from easy or comfortable.”

Directing his remarks at CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, Nepal asserted his stance against subjugation, stating, “We didn’t enter politics to endure threats or abuse from others. We refuse to be enslaved by anyone’s agenda.”

Recent dissatisfaction with unfulfilled coalition agreements has prompted Nepal to explore alternative alliances.

Reports suggest discussions with Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba for a potential coalition shift.
