Kathmandu metropolis calls for tenders for sale of dry waste



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City has initiated the tender process for the sale of dry waste collected within the metropolis.

In a statement issued on Friday, the metropolis urged interested parties to submit their proposals within a 30-day window.

Individuals, companies, or firms registered with the Internal Revenue Office are eligible to bid for the purchase of dry waste.

The call for tenders specifically targets the sale of dry leaves, which are accumulated daily from various wards and transported to the Teku Transfer Station.

Proposals received will undergo evaluation by the Environment Management Department of the office on April 22 at 2 pm.

Interested parties can obtain further information regarding the bidding process from the Environment Department of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
