NC Mahasamiti meeting disrupted; General Secretary Thapa commits to address grievances

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress’s Mahasamiti meeting faced disruption as provincial members staged protests while providing suggestions.

Tensions arose when representatives expressed dissatisfaction with a report that contradicted their sentiments.

Amidst the commotion, party General Secretary Gagan Thapa intervened, urging the protesting members to resume their seats.

Following his plea, representatives gradually returned to their chairs, signaling a tentative restoration of order.

The discord deepened when other representatives contested the statements made by the Chairman of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly during his speech.

Despite the disruptions, General Secretary Thapa assured attendees that their grievances would be heard and addressed.
